my absolute favorite animal right next to penguins and cats. i really love that they look so alien. if i were a small fish, i would totally fall for their color changing hypnosis.
so frickin cool. like. the concept?? a blue balloon full of gas with long tentacles that could reach 100ft that just floats around?? yeah okay man.
so absolutely gorgeous. only females grow this long for intimidation purposes - up to 2m!! males only get to a few cm :/ they can also detach their cape to get away from predators
one of the first sea creatures i learned about that inspired me to start this collection. the whole concept of this thing is just ridiculous. the fact that it's so ridiculous makes me love the sea more
